Mamaia

## The beach & the vibe

The beach is wide, with specially imported fine sand, loungers, beach bars and water sports. For families, **Aqua Magic Mamaia** is a children's paradise, and the **Telegondola Mamaia** offers a spectacular panorama over the resort and the lake. Evenings belong to the clubs, among the best known in Romania. The atmosphere is effervescent and cosmopolitan.

## Good to know

Price level: moderate to premium, with more than 50 places to stay and 45 restaurants listed. Come in **June** or **September** for a beach just as good, but with fewer crowds and gentler rates. **Constanța** is practically attached to the south, with the **Cazinoul din Constanța** and the **Delfinariul Constanța** minutes away, while youthful **Mamaia Nord** carries the fun on to the north.
